“Suntory’s new workplace provides the uniting identity and great flexible space it needs for its expanded UK enterprise.”
The Fit Out project
When Japanese firm Suntory acquired Lucozade and Ribena, they urgently needed striking new European headquarters. A short timescale, no confirmed site and big brand requirements were no problem for BW.
The challenge was to fit out a prestigious workspace for 200 staff, before the site had even been found. As the new brand owners, Suntory were keen to welcome employees into the fold, and make critical teams feel at home as quickly as possible. The 21-week programme was delivered in two phases, allowing staff to be transferred as soon as possible after the sale had been made, with employees on site within just eight weeks.
BW put great branding at the heart of the project; with each of the 13 meeting rooms featuring dramatic graphics to reflect different products. The space also had specific testing and development requirements, which called for installation of state-of-the-art development kitchens and mood-lit sensory booths.
